كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

    His words: كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ — Allah, exalted be His mention, means by His word kallā: "Nay, you should not act in this way, that vying for abundance distracts you." And His words سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ — glorious is His praise — say: "you shall know, when you visit the graves, O you who were distracted by vying for abundance, what the consequences are of your conduct and of your preoccupation with vying for abundance in this world at the expense of obedience to Allah, your Lord."

    وقوله: ( كَلا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ) يعني تعالى ذكره بقوله: كلا ما هكذا ينبغي أن تفعلوا، أن يُلْهِيَكُم التكاثر. وقوله: ( سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ) يقول جلّ ثناؤه: سوف تعلمون إذا زرتم المقابر، أيها الذين ألهاهم التكاثر، غبّ فعلكم، واشتغالكم بالتكاثر في الدنيا عن طاعة الله ربكم.
