Abū Jaʿfar said: The Exalted — praised be His remembrance — speaks here while informing about Mūsā that he said to the sorcerers: وَيُحِقُّ اللَّهُ الْحَقَّ — that is to say: Allah confirms and establishes the truth which I have brought you from His presence, and He raises it above your falsehood and makes it firm — بِكَلِمَاتِهِ , that is to say: by His command. وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ — that is to say: those who have acquired sin against their Lord, by obeying Him in disobedience toward Him.
