A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.

His statement: وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ ("And when the graves are overturned"). He says: and when the graves are dug up and overturned, so that the dead who are in them are brought out of them alive. One says: baʿthara fulān ḥawḍa fulān — when he puts the lowest part of it on top. One says: baʿthara and baḥthara: they are two linguistic variants.
And in line with what we have said about this, the people of interpretation (ahl al-taʾwīl) have spoken.
