Tafseer of The Cleaving · Al-Infitaar · 82:15
They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,

His statement: يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ ("They will burn in it on the Day of Judgment"). He, exalted is His praise, says: these immoral sinners will burn in the Hellfire (al-jaḥīm) on the Day of Resurrection, the day on which the servants are judged according to their deeds and are requited for them.
And in accordance with what we have said about this, the interpreters of the Scripture have spoken.

ʿAlī related to me, saying: Abū Ṣāliḥ related to us, saying: Muʿāwiya related to me, on the authority of ʿAlī, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, concerning His word: يَوْمَ الدِّينِ ("the Day of Judgment"): it is among the names of the Day of Resurrection; Allah has made it great and warned His servants of it.
