His statement: وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ ("And by the morning when it breathes"). He says: and by the light of day when it draws near and becomes visible.

    * Mention of who said that:

Abū Kurayb related to us, saying: Ibn Yamān related to us, on the authority of Ashʿath, on the authority of Jaʿfar, on the authority of Saʿīd, concerning his statement: وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ ("And by the morning when it breathes"), he said: when it dawns.
