And His statement: إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرُ مَنْ يَخْشَاهَا "You are only a warner for him who fears it" (79:45). He, exalted is His mention, says to Muḥammad: You are only a sent Messenger to warn of the Hour him who fears the punishment of Allah at the Hour on account of his crimes; and the knowledge of the time at which it will arrive has not been imposed upon you. He says: Leave that whose knowledge has not been imposed upon you, and act according to that which has been commanded of you, namely the warning of him whom you have been commanded to warn.

The reciters have differed over the reading of His statement Abū Jaʿfar the reciter and Ibn Muḥayṣin read مُنْذِرٌ with tanwīn, with the meaning: He is a warner for him who fears it. And the rest of the reciters of Medina, Mecca, Kūfa and Baṣra read it by joining مُنْذِرُ (in iḍāfa) to مَنْ .

And the correct view concerning this, in my opinion, is: They are both well-known readings, and with whichever of the two the reciter recites, he is correct.
