But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed.

His statement: ( فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَى ) (But he denied and disobeyed) (79:21). He says: Farʿawn (Pharaoh) denied Mūsā regarding the miraculous signs that he brought him, and he disobeyed him regarding that which he commanded him to do, namely obedience to his Lord and the fear of Him.
