Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.

His statement: innā aʿtadnā lil-kāfirīna salāsila (truly, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains). The Exalted, praised be His mention, says: truly, We have prepared, for whoever ungratefully rejected Our favor and opposed Our command, chains with which they will be firmly bound in the blazing Fire (al-jaḥīm). wa-aghlālan (and shackles), He says: and with the shackles their hands are bound to their necks.
His statement: wa-saʿīran (and a blazing fire), He says: and a fire that is kindled over them and blazes up.
