So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness

And His word: fa-waqāhumu allāhu sharra dhālika al-yawmi wa-laqqāhum naḍratan wa-surūran ("So Allah has protected them from the evil of that Day and has granted them radiance and joy").
He, exalted be His praise, says: Allah has turned away from them that against which they were on their guard in this world, namely the evil of the grim, tormenting Day — because of what they did in this world of that with which their Lord was pleased with them. He granted them radiance (naḍra) upon their faces and joy (surūr) in their hearts.
And in accordance with what we have said about this, the exegetes (ahl al-taʾwīl) have spoken.

Yaʿqūb related to me, saying: Ibn ʿUlayya related to us, on the authority of Abū Rajāʾ, on the authority of al-Ḥasan, concerning His word: wa-laqqāhum naḍratan wa-surūran , he said: radiance upon the faces and joy in the hearts.
Bishr related to me, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, his word: wa-laqqāhum naḍratan wa-surūran : radiance upon their faces and joy in their hearts.
Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said concerning His word: wa-laqqāhum naḍratan wa-surūran , he said: bounty and joy.
