He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"

His statement: يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ ("He asks: When is the Day of Resurrection?"). The Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: The son of Adam, who proceeds continuously and without ceasing in disobedience to Allah, asks: when is the Day of Resurrection? — as a deferral on his part of repentance.
