And when the trumpet is blown,

Yaʿqūb related to me, saying: Ibn ʿUlayya related to us, saying: Abū Rajāʾ informed us, on the authority of ʿIkrima, concerning His words: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr ("So when the trumpet is blown"), he said: that is when the trumpet (al-ṣūr) is blown.
Muḥammad ibn al-Muthannā related to us, saying: Abū al-Nuʿmān al-Ḥakam ibn ʿAbdallāh related to us, saying: Shuʿba related to us, on the authority of Abū Rajāʾ, on the authority of ʿIkrima, concerning His words: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr something similar.
Abū Kurayb related to us, saying: Wakīʿ related to us, on the authority of Sharīk, on the authority of Jābir, on the authority of Mujāhid: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr , he said: that is when the trumpet (al-ṣūr) is blown.
Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr related to me, saying: Abū ʿĀṣim related to us, saying: ʿĪsā related to us; and al-Ḥārith related to me, saying: al-Ḥasan related to us, saying: Warqāʾ related to us — both on the authority of Ibn Abī Najīḥ, on the authority of Mujāhid, his words: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr , he said: into the trumpet (al-ṣūr); he said: it is something in the shape of a horn.
Muḥammad ibn Saʿd related to me, saying: my father related to me, saying: my uncle related to me, saying: my father related to me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, his words: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr , he said: it is the day on which the trumpet (al-ṣūr) is blown, the one in which it is blown. Ibn ʿAbbās said: The Prophet of Allah ﷺ went out to his companions and said: "How could I feel at ease, while the bearer of the horn has already set the horn to his mouth, bowed his forehead, and turned his ear to listen for when he is commanded to blow?" That weighed heavily upon his companions, so he commanded them to say: "Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best Protector; upon Allah we place our trust."
ʿAlī related to me, saying: Abū Ṣāliḥ related to us, saying: Muʿāwiya related to me, on the authority of ʿAlī, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, his words: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr , he says: the trumpet (al-ṣūr).
Ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā related to us, saying: Ibn Thawr related to us, on the authority of Maʿmar: al-Ḥasan said: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr , he said: that is when the trumpet (al-ṣūr) is blown.
Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, his words: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr , and al-nāqūr is the trumpet (al-ṣūr), and the trumpet is the creation.
It was related to me on the authority of al-Ḥusayn, he said: I heard Abū Muʿādh saying: ʿUbayd related to us, saying: I heard al-Ḍaḥḥāk saying concerning His words: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr , he means: the trumpet (al-ṣūr).
Ibn Ḥumayd related to us, saying: Ḥakkām related to us, on the authority of Abū Jaʿfar, on the authority of al-Rabīʿ, his words: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr , he said: al-nāqūr is the trumpet (al-ṣūr).
Mihrān related to us, on the authority of Abū Jaʿfar, on the authority of al-Rabīʿ, something similar.
Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said concerning His words: fa-idhā nuqira fī al-nāqūr , he said: the trumpet (al-ṣūr).
And in accordance with what we have said concerning this, the exegetes (ahl al-taʾwīl) have spoken.
