Tafseer of The Cloaked One · Al-Muddaththir · 74:37
To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind.

Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said concerning His statement: نَذِيرًا لِلْبَشَرِ ("a warner to mankind"): he said: it is the creatures. He said: the children of Adam, that is mankind (al-bashar). Then he was asked: is Muḥammad ﷺ the warner? He said: yes, he warns them.
