Tafseer of The Cloaked One · Al-Muddaththir · 74:14
And spread [everything] before him, easing [his life].

And His word: wa-mahhadtu lahu tamhīdan ("and I smoothed out everything for him"). He, exalted is His mention, says: and I expanded his livelihood abundantly.
As Ibn Ḥumayd related to us, he said: Mihrān related to us, on the authority of Sufyān: wa-mahhadtu lahu tamhīdan , he said: it was expanded for him.
Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr related to me, he said: Abū ʿĀṣim related to us, he said: ʿĪsā related to us; and al-Ḥārith related to me, he said: al-Ḥasan related to us, he said: Warqāʾ related to us — both of them on the authority of Ibn Abī Najīḥ, on the authority of Mujāhid, his word: wa-mahhadtu lahu tamhīdan , he said: with property and children.
