Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure?

His statement: ( Does then every man of them long to be admitted into the Garden of Bliss ) He says: does then every man of these who disbelieve, who come hastening toward you, long for Allah to admit him into the Garden of Bliss — that is to say: gardens of bliss in which he will have delight.
The reciters differed over the reading of His statement: ( to be admitted into the Garden of Bliss ). Most of the reciters of the cities read it as ( yudkhala ) with a ḍamma on the yāʾ, in the form of the passive with an unnamed agent, except al-Ḥasan and Ṭalḥa ibn Muṣarrif, for it is related from both of them that they read it with a fatḥa on the yāʾ, with the meaning: does then every man of them long that every man of them should enter the Garden of Bliss.
And the correct reading therein is that which the reciters of the cities hold, namely the ḍamma on the yāʾ, on account of the agreement of the authority of the reciters upon it.
