فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَأَغْرَقْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا عَمِينَ

But they denied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the ship. And We drowned those who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a blind people.

    The discourse on the explanation of His statement: فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا عَمِينَ (7:64) (But they denied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the ark, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a blind people.)

    Abū Jaʿfar said: The Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: His people denied Nūḥ when he informed them that he was a messenger of Allah to them, who commanded them to renounce the idols, to acknowledge the oneness of Allah, and to render obedience to Him. But they opposed the command of their Lord and persisted in their insolence, wandering astray. Then Allah saved him in the ark, and those who were with him among the believers in him, and they were, together with Nūḥ — peace be upon him — ten souls, according to the following:-

    14792 - Ibn Ḥumayd related this to me, saying: Salama related to us, on the authority of Ibn Isḥāq: Nūḥ, and his three sons Sām, Ḥām, and Yāfith, and their wives, and six people of those who had believed in him.

    And he took with him in the ark of every pair two, as He, blessed and exalted, has said: وَمَنْ آمَنَ وَمَا آمَنَ مَعَهُ إِلا قَلِيلٌ [Surah Hūd: 40] (And whoever believed; and only a few believed with him).

    And "al-fulk," that is the ship.

    "And We drowned those who denied Our signs," He says: and Allah drowned by the Flood those who denied His proofs, did not follow His messengers, and did not accept His sincere counsel concerning Allah.

    ="Indeed, they were a blind people," He says: blind to the truth, as:-

    14793 - Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr related to me, saying: Abū ʿĀṣim related to us, saying: ʿĪsā related to us, on the authority of Ibn Abī Najīḥ, on the authority of Mujāhid, concerning the statement of Allah: "blind," he said: to the truth.

    14794 - Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said concerning his statement: "a blind people," he said: the blindness, the blind to the truth.

    القول في تأويل قوله : فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا عَمِينَ (64) قال أبو جعفر: يقول تعالى ذكره: فكذب نوحًا قومه إذ أخبرهم أنه لله رسولٌ إليهم، يأمرهم بخلع الأنداد، والإقرار بوحدانية الله، والعمل بطاعته، وخالفوا أمر ربهم، ولجُّوا في طغيانهم يعمهون، فأنجاه الله في الفلك والذين معه من المؤمنين به، وكانوا بنوح عليه السلام أنفسًا عشرة، (16) فيما:- 14792 - حدثني به ابن حميد قال، حدثنا سلمة، عن ابن إسحاق: نوح، وبنوه الثلاثة سامٌ وحام ويافث، وأزواجهم، وستة أناسيّ ممن كان آمن به. * * * وكان حمل معه في الفلك من كل زوجين اثنين، كما قال تبارك وتعالى: وَمَنْ آمَنَ وَمَا آمَنَ مَعَهُ إِلا قَلِيلٌ [ سورة هود: 40 ]. * * * و " الفلك " ، هو السفينة. * * * " وأغرقنا الذين كذبوا بآياتنا " ، يقول: وأغرق الله الذين كذبوا بحججه، ولم يتبعوا رسله، ولم يقبلوا نصيحته إياهم في الله بالطوفان. =" إنهم كانوا قومًا عمين " ، يقول: عمين عن الحق، كما:- 14793 - حدثني محمد بن عمرو قال، حدثنا أبو عاصم قال، حدثنا عيسى، عن ابن أبي نجيح، عن مجاهد في قول الله: " عمين " ، قال: عن الحق. 14794 - حدثني يونس قال، أخبرنا ابن وهب قال، قال ابن زيد في قوله: " قوما عمين " ، قال: العَمَى، العامي عن الحق. (17) ---------------- الهوامش : (16) في المخطوطة ما أثبت ، ولكن ناشر المطبوعة اجتهد فكتب"وكانوا بنوح عليه السلام ثلاث عشرة" ، وهو تصرف معيب ، فإن خبر ابن إسحاق هذا سيأتي في تفسير"سورة هود" 12: 26 (بولاق) ، وفيه: "فكانوا عشرة نفر بنوح وبنيه وأزواجهم" ، فنوح وبنوه أربعة ، وستة أناسي ، فهذه عشرة. أما الأزواج فإنه لم يدخلهن في العدة كما ترى ، وإنما عنى عدد الرجال دون النساء.
