In an elevated garden,

His statement: فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ ("in a lofty garden"). He says: in a lofty, elevated pleasure-garden. And the "in" in His statement فِي جَنَّةٍ ("in a garden") is connected to "ʿīsha" (life, the enjoyment of life).
And His statement: قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ ("whose fruits to be plucked are near"). He says: what is plucked from the garden by way of fruits is near, close to the one who plucks it.
And it has been mentioned that whoever desires its fruit takes it as he wishes, standing and sitting; no distance prevents him from it, and no thorn stands between him and it.
And in the sense of what we have said concerning this, the scholars of exegesis spoke.
