مَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍۢ

You are not, [O Muhammad], by the favor of your Lord, a madman.

    His word: مَا أَنْتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ ("You are not, by the grace of your Lord, one possessed") (68:2). The Exalted — praised be His mention — says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: you are not, by the grace of your Lord, one possessed; and by this He gives the lie to the polytheists (mushrikīn) of Quraysh, who said to him: "You are truly one possessed."

    وقوله: ( مَا أَنْتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ ) يقول تعالى ذكره لنبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم : ما أنت بنعمة ربك بمجنون، مكذِّبا بذلك مشركي قريش الذين قالوا له: إنك مجنون.
