Tafseer of The Sovereignty · Al-Mulk · 67:29
Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error."

The statement concerning the interpretation of His word, the Exalted: قُلْ هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ آمَنَّا بِهِ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِي ضَلالٍ مُبِينٍ (29) ("Say: 'He is the Most Merciful; in Him we believe, and upon Him we place our trust. Soon you will know who is in clear error' (29)").
The Exalted, whose mention is exalted, says to His Prophet Muḥammad — may Allah bless him and grant him peace: Say, O Muḥammad: our Lord is الرَّحْمَنُ آمَنَّا بِهِ ("the Most Merciful; in Him we believe") — he says: we hold Him to be true. وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ("and upon Him we place our trust") — he says: and upon Him we rely in our affairs, and in Him we trust regarding them. فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِي ضَلالٍ مُبِينٍ ("soon you will know who is in clear error") — he says: soon you will know, O polytheists who ascribe partners to Allah, who it is that is in straying from the truth, and who it is that is not upon a straight path, among us and among you, when we come to Him and are all gathered together.
