Tafseer of The Sovereignty · Al-Mulk · 67:25

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"

    وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ ("And they say: 'When will this promise come to pass, if you are truthful?'"). He — exalted is His praise — says: and the polytheists (mushrikīn) say: when will that come to pass which you promise us concerning the gathering unto Allah, if you are truthful in your promise to us regarding that which you announce to us?
