Ibn Sinān al-Qazzāz related to us, saying: Abū ʿĀṣim related to us, saying: ʿĪsā related to us, on the authority of Shabīb, on the authority of ʿIkrima, on the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās, concerning: (That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whomever He wills); he said: The bounty is: the religion. (And Allah is the possessor of great bounty) He says: And Allah is the possessor of bounty over His servants, the doer of good among them and the doer of evil, and those among whom He sent the Messenger, from their midst and others; the Mighty, beside whom the bounty of everyone who possesses a bounty is slight.
