Tafseer of The Iron · Al-Hadid · 57:5
His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. And to Allah are returned [all] matters.

The Exalted, whose remembrance is exalted, says: To Him belongs the dominion over the heavens and the earth, penetrating into all of it, and in everything that is therein His command holds sway. وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الأُمُورُ ("and to Allah all matters return") (57:5). The Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: and to Allah is the final destination of the affairs of all His creatures, so that He may judge between them with His decree.
