Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter name the angels female names,

The explanation of the word of the Exalted: Voorwaar, zij die niet in het Hiernamaals geloven, geven de engelen waarlijk vrouwelijke namen (27).
The Exalted, Whose praise is exalted, says: indeed, those who do not hold the resurrection in the Last Abode to be true — and that is the Day of Resurrection — do truly give Allah's angels female names, and that is because they used to say: they are the daughters of Allah.
And in accordance with what we have said concerning His word female names the people of interpretation have spoken.

Muhammad ibn ʿAmr related to me, saying: Abū ʿĀṣim related to us, saying: ʿĪsā related to us; and al-Ḥārith related to me, saying: al-Ḥasan related to us, saying: Warqāʾ related to us — both — on the authority of Ibn Abī Najīḥ, on the authority of Mujāhid, concerning His word female names, he said: the female beings.
