فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا ("But Allah was gracious to us") through His grace وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ ("and protected us from the punishment of the scorching wind"). He means: the punishment (ʿadhāb) of the Fire, that is to say: He saved us from the Fire and caused us to enter the Garden (janna).
In accordance with what we have said concerning this, the exegetes have expressed themselves.
* Mention of who said that:
Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said concerning His word عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ , he said: the punishment of the Fire.
