And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer.

And His words وَالأرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا (And the earth, We have spread it out). The Exalted, whose remembrance is exalted, says: and the earth, We have made it a resting place for the creatures. فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ (and how excellent are the spreaders) — He says: and how excellent then are We as spreaders for them.
