On the Day the earth breaks away from them [and they emerge] rapidly; that is a gathering easy for Us.

His statement تَشَقَّقُ الأرْضُ عَنْهُمْ (the earth will split open above them) means: the earth will burst open above them. And His statement سِرَاعًا (hastening): the word "sirāʿan" stands in the accusative as a circumstantial qualifier (ḥāl) of the pronoun "them" in His statement "ʿanhum" (above them). The meaning is: on the day when the earth splits open above them and they come forth from it hastening. The indication in His statement يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الأرْضُ عَنْهُمْ (the day when the earth splits open above them) was deemed sufficient for that, instead of stating it explicitly.
His statement ذَلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ (that is a gathering easy for Us) means: that bringing of them together is a bringing together at the place of the reckoning, and that is for Us easy and simple.
