And His statement ( وَمَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً يَأْخُذُونَهَا ) — "and abundant war-spoils which they will take" —. The Exalted, whose mention is exalted, says: and Allah has rewarded these who pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ beneath the tree — in addition to that with which He honored them through His good pleasure with them, the sending down of tranquility (sakīna) upon them, and rewarding them with a near victory — with abundant war-spoils (ghanāʾim) which they would take from the possessions of the Jews of Khaybar; for Allah made that exclusive to the people of the pledge of good pleasure (bayʿat al-riḍwān), to the exclusion of others.
And His statement ( وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا ) — He says: and Allah was possessor of might in His retribution against whomever He requited among His enemies, wise in His disposing of His creatures and His directing of them toward what He willed in His decree.
