إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌۭ فَلَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ

Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them.

    And His statement Indeed, those who disbelieved and turned away from the path of Allah, and then died while they were disbelievers — Allah, exalted is His mention, says: Indeed, those who denied the oneness of Allah, and who turned away those who desired faith in Allah and in His Messenger from it, and brought them into trial concerning that, and held them back from it, and prevented them in that which they desired thereof, and then died while they were disbelievers (kuffār) — He says: and then died while they were in that state of their disbelief (kufr) — Allah will never forgive them — He says: then Allah will not pass over what they have committed thereof, but He will punish them for it and disgrace them thereby in the sight of the witnesses.

    وقوله ( إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُوا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ ) يقول تعالى ذكره: إن الذين أنكروا توحيد الله, وصدوا من أراد الإيمان بالله وبرسوله عن ذلك, ففتنوهم عنه, وحالوا بينهم وبين ما أرادوا من ذلك, ثم ماتوا وهم كفار: يقول: ثم ماتوا وهم على ذلك من كفرهم ( فَلَنْ يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ ) يقول: فلن يعفو الله عما صنع من ذلك, ولكنه يعاقبه عليه, ويفضحه به على رءوس الأشهاد.
