    The explanation of His word, the Exalted: قَالُوا يَا قَوْمَنَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَابًا أُنزِلَ مِن بَعْدِ مُوسَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ وَإِلَىٰ طَرِيقٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ (30) [They said: O our people, indeed we have heard a Book sent down after Mūsā, confirming what came before it, guiding to the truth and to a straight path (30)]

The Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says, reporting about the statement of these ones of the jinn who had turned toward the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's blessing and peace be upon him, to their people, when they returned to them from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's blessing and peace be upon him: O our people of the jinn, indeed we have heard a Book sent down after the Book of Mūsā, confirming what came before it — he says: it confirms what came before it of the Books of Allah which He sent down to His messengers.

And His word guiding to the truth — he says: it points to what is right, and it indicates that in which lies Allah's good pleasure. And to a straight path — he says: and to a path in which there is no crookedness, and that is Islam.

And Qatāda said concerning that what Bishr related to us, he said: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda, that he recited They said: O our people, indeed we have heard a Book sent down after Mūsā, confirming what came before it, guiding to the truth and to a straight path, and he said: how quickly the people understood it! It has been transmitted to us that they had turned toward him from Nineveh.
