And His word: مَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلا بِالْحَقِّ ("We have not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth"). The Exalted, whose praise is proclaimed, says: We did not bring the heavens and the earth into being, causing them to come into existence as a created thing, nor what is between them of the kinds of the world, except in truth — that is to say: only for the establishment of truth and justice among the creation.
And His word: وَأَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى ("…and an appointed term"). He says: And only with a term for all of that, which is known to Him, which He will cause to pass away when it reaches that term, and which He will cause to vanish after it had existed through His bringing it into existence.
And His word: وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَمَّا أُنْذِرُوا مُعْرِضُونَ ("And those who disbelieve turn away from that of which they are warned"). The Exalted, whose praise is proclaimed, says: And those who denied the oneness of Allah turn away from Allah's warning to them; they do not take admonition from it, and they do not reflect upon it so that they might draw a lesson from it.
