The explanation of the statement of the Exalted: (Indeed, those who say: "Our Lord is Allah" and then remain steadfast, no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve) (46:13).
The Exalted, whose remembrance is exalted, says: (Indeed, those who say: "Our Lord is Allah") — He besides whom there is no god — ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا (and then remain steadfast) upon their affirmation of that, so that they did not mix it with shirk (associating partners with Allah) and were not disobedient to Allah in His command and His prohibition, فَلا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ (no fear shall come upon them) of the terror of the Day of Resurrection and its horrors, وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ (nor shall they grieve) over what they have left behind them after their death.
