The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

As for His words: تَنـزيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ ("The sending down of the Book is from Allah") — its meaning is: this is the sending down of the Qurʾān from Allah, (the Almighty, al-ʿAzīz) in His retribution against His enemies, (the All-Wise, al-Ḥakīm) in His ordering of the affairs of His creatures.
