Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people.

And His statement ( Thus it was, and We caused it to pass to another people ) — the Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: thus, just as I have described to you, O people, did We do with these whose affair I have recounted to you, those who denied Our messenger Mūsā ﷺ.
And His statement ( and We caused it to pass to another people ) — the Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: and We caused their gardens, their springs, their fields, their dwellings, and the blessings in which they were, to pass from them to another people after their destruction. And it is said: by "the other people" the Children of Israel are meant.
