And His statement: نزلا مِنْ غَفُورٍ رَحِيمٍ ("as a hospitable reception from One Forgiving, Most Merciful") — He says: your Lord has given you that as a hospitable reception for you, from a Lord who forgives your sins, merciful toward you, in the sense that He does not punish you after your repentance. The word "nuzul" (hospitable reception) is in the accusative as a verbal complement (maṣdar) governed by the meaning of His statement: وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنْفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ ("and you shall have therein whatever your souls desire, and you shall have therein whatever you call for"), because contained within it is the explanation: your Lord has made you dwell with the favors that they desire, as a hospitable reception.
