[This is] a revelation from the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful -

And His statement: ( a sending-down from the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate ) The Exalted, whose remembrance is exalted, says: this Qurʾān is a sending-down from the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate; He has sent it down upon His prophet Muḥammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
