The explanation of His word: وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِأَعْدَائِكُمْ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ نَصِيرًا (And Allah knows your enemies best, and Allah suffices as a protector and Allah suffices as a helper) (45).
Then Allah, the Exalted, informed [the believers] about the enmity of these Jews, those whom He had forbidden the believers to seek counsel from in their religion, and He said, the Exalted: "And Allah knows your enemies best" — by this He means, exalted be His mention: And Allah knows better than you the enmity of these Jews toward you, O believers. He says: So adhere to obedience to Me in that which I have forbidden you, namely seeking counsel from them in your religion, for I know best what they harbor toward you of deceit, enmity, and envy, and that they seek nothing but evil for you and strive that you should stray from the path of truth and thereby perish.

As for His word: "and Allah suffices as a protector and Allah suffices as a helper", He says: So place your trust, O believers, in Allah, and upon Him place your trust, and to Him direct your longing, and not to any other, then He will suffice you in your concerns and help you against your enemies — "and Allah suffices as a protector", He says: and Allah, your Lord, suffices and is sufficient for you as a protector (walī), who takes charge of you and of your affairs by guarding you and protecting you from your enemies turning you away from your religion or diverting you from following your Prophet ﷺ.
"and Allah suffices as a helper", He says: and Allah is sufficient for you as a helper for you against your enemies and the enemies of your religion, and against whoever seeks to bring evil upon you and seeks to distort the religion.
