Tafseer of The Groups · Az-Zumar · 39:11

قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصًۭا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ

Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.

    The explanation of the words of the Exalted: Zeg: Voorwaar, mij is bevolen Allah te aanbidden, Hem oprecht toegewijd in de godsdienst (39:11).

    The Exalted, whose remembrance is exalted, says to His prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: Say, O Muḥammad, to the polytheists (mushrikīn) of your people: Allah has commanded me to worship Him, reserving obedience to Him alone, to the exclusion of all gods and associates whom you call upon besides Him.

    القول في تأويل قوله تعالى : قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَهُ الدِّينَ (11) يقول تعالى ذكره لنبيه محمد صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم: قل يا محمد لمشركي قومك: إن الله أمرني أن أعبده مفردا له الطاعة, دون كلّ ما تدعون من دونه من الآلهة والأنداد .
