فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ

So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely.

    And His statement فَسَجَدَ الْمَلائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ (So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together) means — the Exalted, whose mention is exalted, says: when Allah had completed the creation of that human being, namely Ādam, and had breathed into him of His spirit, the angels all prostrated themselves together before him. By this are meant: the angels who are in the heavens and on the earth.

    وقوله ( فَسَجَدَ الْمَلائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ ) يقول تعالى ذكره: فلما سوّى الله خلق ذلك البشر, وهو آدم, ونفخ فيه من روحه, سجد له الملائكة كلهم أجمعون, يعني بذلك: الملائكة الذين هم في السموات والأرض.
