When he came to his Lord with a sound heart

And His statement ( When he came to his Lord with a sound heart ) (37:84) — by this He says, exalted is His mention: when Ibrāhīm came to his Lord with a heart that was pure of associating partners with Allah (shirk), keeping the acknowledgment of the Oneness (tawḥīd) pure for Him.
As Bishr related to us, saying: Yazīd related to us, saying: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda: ( When he came to his Lord with a sound heart ) — by Allah, pure of associating partners with Allah (shirk).
Muḥammad related to us, saying: Aḥmad related to us, saying: Asbāṭ related to us, on the authority of al-Suddī, concerning His statement ( When he came to his Lord with a sound heart ), he said: pure of shirk.
Ibn Ḥumayd related to us, saying: Jarīr related to us, on the authority of Layth, on the authority of Mujāhid: ( with a sound heart ), he said: without doubt concerning it. And others said concerning it what Abū Kurayb related to us, saying: ʿAththām ibn ʿAlī related to us, saying: Hishām related to us, on the authority of his father, who said: 'O my son, do not be cursers. Have you not seen that Ibrāhīm never cursed anything? That is why Allah said: ( When he came to his Lord with a sound heart ).'
