And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers,

His statement ( وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُورُونَ ) [And indeed, Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, that they are surely the ones who will be helped]: Allah, exalted be His mention, says: and indeed, from Our side the word has already been predetermined for Our messengers, that they are surely the ones who will be helped; that is to say, regarding this, the decision and the decree have already been carried out from Our side in the Mother of the Book (umm al-kitāb), namely that they have the help and the victory by means of the proofs.
