His statement إِلا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ ("except the sincerely devoted servants of Allah") means: and the jinn have surely known that those who said that the angels are daughters of Allah shall surely be brought to the punishment, except the servants of Allah whom He has made sincere for His mercy and whom He has created for His paradise (janna).
