The explanation of the words of the Exalted: أُولَئِكَ عَلَى هُدًى مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ (5) ("These follow guidance from their Lord, and these are the successful") (31:5).
The Exalted, whose praise is exalted, says: these, whose quality I have described, are upon a clear exposition from their Lord and in a light. ( وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ المُفْلِحونَ ) ("and these are the successful"). He says: and these are the ones who succeed and who attain what they hoped for and desired of the reward of their Lord on the Day of Resurrection.
