If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" they would surely say, "Allah." Then how are they deluded?

The explanation of the statement of the Exalted: وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ فَأَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ (61) (And if you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth and made the sun and the moon subservient?", they will surely say: "Allah." How then are they turned away? (29:61))
The Exalted, whose remembrance is high, says: And if you, O Muḥammad, ask these polytheists (mushrikīn) who ascribe associates to Allah: who created the heavens and the earth and ordered them, and made the sun and the moon subservient for His servants, so that the two of them continually maintain their course for the interests of Allah's creation — then they will surely say: "The One who created and did that is Allah." فَأَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ, He — exalted is His praise — says: how then are they turned away from the One who made that, so that they deviate from making worship purely for Him?
As Bishr related to us; he said: Yazīd related to us; he said: Saʿīd related to us, on the authority of Qatāda: فَأَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ — that is to say: they deviate.
