And We made them leaders inviting to the Fire, and on the Day of Resurrection they will not be helped.

The word of Allah, the Exalted: وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَدْعُونَ إِلَى النَّارِ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لا يُنْصَرُونَ (41)
Allah, the Exalted, says: We made Pharaoh and his people leaders by whom those arrogant against Allah and those who disbelieve in Him let themselves be led; they call the people to the deeds of the inhabitants of the Fire (al-nār). وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لا يُنْصَرُونَ — Glorified be His majesty, He says: On the Day of Resurrection, when Allah punishes them, no helper will stand by them. In the life of this world they supported one another, but that support will completely vanish on that day.
