Allah the Exalted says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: commit your affairs to Allah, O Muḥammad, and rely upon Him in this, for He is sufficient for you. إِنَّكَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ الْمُبِينِ — "Indeed, you are upon the clear truth" — clear to whoever considers it, reflects upon it with his intellect, and ponders it with understanding, that it is the truth — and not that to which the Jews and Christians adhere, the divergent ones among the Children of Israel, nor that to which the idolaters adhere who give you the lie regarding the truth you have brought them. So He says: let it not grieve you that they give you the lie and oppose you; proceed with the charge of your Lord with which He has sent you.
