Tafseer of The Ant · An-Naml · 27:64
Is He [not best] who begins creation and then repeats it and who provides for you from the heaven and earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful."

Allah, exalted be His remembrance, says: Or is what you ascribe as partners, O people, better — or He Who originates creation and then brings it back, who brings it into being anew without any original material, who initiates it and then causes it to perish when He wills, and then brings it back when He wishes in the state it was in before its perishing — and He Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth, sending down rain from the heaven and causing vegetation to grow from the earth as food for you and for your livestock? أَإِلَهٌ مَعَ اللَّهِ (Is there a god alongside Allah?) other than Allah, who does that? And if they claim that there is a god besides Allah who does that or part of it, قُلْ (say then) to them — O Muḥammad — هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ (bring your proof) — that is to say: your argument that there exists something besides Allah that does that — إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ (if you are truthful) in your claims. And the word "man" in "amman" and "mā" are the subject in His words "ammā yushrikūn," and the verses after it up to His words وَمَنْ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ (and He Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth) have the meaning of "alladhī" (He Who), not the meaning of an interrogative clause — and this is because an interrogative clause cannot follow an interrogative clause.
