And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Qur'an from one Wise and Knowing.

Allah, exalted be His remembrance, says to His Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ: You preserve the Qurʾān and learn it مِنْ لَدُنْ حَكِيمٍ عَلِيمٍ (from One who is All-Wise, All-Knowing): He says: from One who is Wise in the governance of His creation, Knowing of the tidings of His creation, their interests, what will come of their affairs, what has passed of their history, and what will be new therein.
