And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not.

Allah, Whose praise is exalted, says: "The painful punishment will befall these deniers of the Qurʾān unexpectedly" — that is to say: suddenly — وَهُمْ لا يَشْعُرُونَ — He says: "they have no prior knowledge of it, until it overtakes them suddenly."
