Tafseer of The Poets · Ash-Shu'araa · 26:2

تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ

    The explanation of the text, according to the opinion of Ibn ʿAbbās and the others: "These verses which I have sent down upon Muḥammad ﷺ in this Sūra are truly the verses of the Book which I sent down upon him before it — the Book that, for whoever reflects upon it with understanding and ponders it with reason, makes clear that it comes from Allah, exalted is His splendor, and that Muḥammad ﷺ did not fabricate it nor invent it of himself, but rather his Lord revealed it to him."

    تأويل الكلام على قول ابن عباس والجميع: إن هذه الآيات التي أنـزلتها على محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم في هذه السورة لآيات الكتاب الذي أنـزلته إليه من قبلها الذي بين لمن تدبره بفهم, وفكر فيه بعقل, أنه من عند الله جلّ جلاله, لم يتخرّصه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم, ولم يتقوّله من عنده, بل أوحاه إليه ربه.
