رَبِّ نَجِّنِى وَأَهْلِى مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ

My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do."

    Allah, the Exalted, says: When Lūṭ's people threatened to drive him out of their land if he did not cease forbidding them from committing the abomination, he made a supplication and said: رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهْلِي (My Lord, save me and my household) from Your punishment upon them because of what they do in approaching males.

    يقول تعالى ذكره: فاستغاث لوط حين توعده قومه بالإخراج من بلدهم إن هو لم ينته عن نهيهم عن ركوب الفاحشة, فقال ( رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهْلِي ) من عقوبتك إياهم على ما يعملون من إتيان الذكران.
