( "So judge between me and them with a [decisive] judgement" ) — He says: judge then between me and them with a judgement from You, by which You destroy the false party and by which You take vengeance upon those who disbelieve in You, who deny Your oneness (tawḥīd) and reject Your Messenger.
As al-Ḥasan related to us, saying: ʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us, saying: Maʿmar informed us, on the authority of Qatāda, concerning His word: ( "So judge between me and them with a [decisive] judgement" ) — he said: judge then between me and them with a judgement.
Yūnus related to me, saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, saying: Ibn Zayd said, concerning His word: ( "So judge between me and them with a [decisive] judgement" ) — he said: that is, judge between me and them. ( "And save me" ) — He says: and deliver me from that punishment which You send down as a judgement between me and them. ( "And those who are with me of the believers" ) — He says: and those who are with me of the people who believe in You and who affirm me.
